Elizabeth

Elizabeth Casa de Calvo, M.A.

Greetings! I am a Lecturer of Psychology at the University of North Texas at Dallas. I have a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from the University of Texas at San Antonio and a Master of Arts degree in Experimental Psychology from Texas Tech University. I have also completed doctoral coursework (ABD; “all but dissertation”) in Social/Experimental Psychology and Close Relationships within the Texas Tech University Social Psychology Ph.D. program.

I began my graduate studies in the field of Social Psychology and Close Relationships with the hopes of gaining a deeper understanding of social dynamics and interpersonal relationships. I have since been fortunate to enjoy a long teaching career in higher education. Teaching is truly a rewarding profession, and it is in this capacity that I am able to connect and grow with others. I have the privilege of working with my husband, Dr. Mario Casa de Calvo, who is also an educator of Psychology at UNT-Dallas. We have a lot of fun collaborating with students and managing the Psychology Club together.

Aside from work, I enjoy photography (ecdcphotography.com), traveling, and learning about new forms of technology and innovation. If you’d like to chat please contact me at Elizabeth.Casadecalvo@untdallas.edu.
