Elizabeth Casa de Calvo, M.A.

Greetings!

I am a proud graduate of the Experimental/Social Psychology program at Texas Tech University, where I earned a Master of Arts degree and completed all doctoral coursework (ABD) toward the Ph.D. in Experimental/Social Psychology. My graduate studies focused on social psychology and close relationships, driven by a desire to better understand social dynamics and interpersonal connections.

Currently, I serve as a Lecturer of Psychology at the University of North Texas at Dallas. I have also held roles as Psychology Program and Internship Coordinator, faculty mentor for student organizations, and research advisor for McNair Scholars. In addition, I participated in the award-winning Dream Catchers program to enhance mentoring skills for first-generation students. Over my career in higher education, I have gained experience in adult education, curriculum development, instructional design, and student mentoring. Guiding student growth through teaching remains my greatest passion.

Outside of work, I enjoy photography (ecdcphotography.com), traveling, and exploring new technology and innovations. If you’d like to connect, I can be reached at Elizabeth.Casadecalvo@untdallas.edu or (469) 530-0405.

Yours truly in Psychology,
E. Casa de Calvo
